Gap gages made by OPW can be used to measure up to the collar: gage mounting brackets or other such parts do not protrude over the edge of the measuring surface. Either side is fitted with hard-metal measuring surfaces. The travel (adjustment range) is 50 mm, and the device comes with an additional integrated thermal insulation for sizes from 400 mm.
These gages are very light owing to their design using casting. High precision and repeatability are achieved through their lapped ball bearing guideways on the measuring end.
